Wolves have two hundred million scent cells inside its nose which allows it to smell prey, and other wolves. They can smell 100x better than people! wolves rotate their ears all around so that they can figure out where a sound is coming from whether that’s finding prey just walking around, or finding the pack when they are lost. Wolves are sight is excellent they can see a  small deer from very far away.

Mouth and teeth

Inside that cute little muzzle are 42 teeth they use to wound/injure, or kill their prey. Wolves tongues are very  rough, they are used for getting meat off of bones from captured prey.

Fur,  and tail and body.

Wolves have a large and powerful body. A wolf’s coat has two layers, the top layers keeps the wolf dry when it’s raining or snowing, the second layer is thicker and keeps the wolf warm. wolves tails have a scent gland that is used for marking territory. The position of the tail helps them show emotions.
